July 1
12:21 p.m.: Maggie R. Nelson, 37, of the 30300 block of Pleasant Hill Road, was arrested after SPD's Criminal Investigations Bureau, Drug Enforcement Unit, and patrol officers conducted a search warrant in the 1000 block of East Sixth Street in reference to a burglary investigation. During the search warrant, suspected methamphetamine and marijuana were seized. Nelson was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail for possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana.
July 7
10:53 a.m.: Radu B. Ciobanu, 29, of Smithton, was arrested after officers conducted a traffic stop in the 700 block of West 16th Street. Ciobanu had a revoked driver's license and the plates in the vehicle were not registered to it. He was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail for a 24-hour hold.
Incidents
July 7
10:29 a.m.: An officer took a report over the phone regarding a theft from a vehicle and fraudulent use of a credit card in the 400 block of East Seventh Street. The caller reported several attempted charges from the card before it was canceled.
