Arrests

June 14

2:01 a.m.: Shauna M. Lachance, 39, of Independence, was arrested after a traffic stop at West Broadway Boulevard and South Stewart Avenue. The driver consented to a search of the vehicle and officers located drug paraphernalia covered in white residue that tested positive for methamphetamine. The driver was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, second-degree trafficking, tampering with evidence, and introduction to a jail facility. Lachance was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.

Incidents

June 14

1:21 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to a business in the 100 block of West 16th Street in reference to a stolen vehicle report. The vehicle was last seen around 6 p.m. June 6. It was entered as a stolen vehicle into MULES and NCIC and was located. The owner was contacted for recovery.

Arrests

June 14

11:37 p.m.: Aleksey Ryakhmyatullov, of Sedalia, was arrested after deputies followed a motorcycle on Spring Fork Road and Highway V. As deputies approached the intersection, the motorcycle and driver were located in a ditch after crashing. Ryakhmyatullov was subsequently arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of driving with a revoked license-second offense, operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner, failure to register a motor vehicle, and no insurance.

Arrests

June 15

1:10 a.m.: Francisco Cruz Perez, 35, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County for driving while intoxicated-prior offender, no driver's license, and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and released.
