This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

March 11

2:05 p.m.: Andrew W. Ehrhardt, 30, of Sedalia, was arrested after officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of West Broadway Boulevard in reference to a subject check. The suspect was contacted and after further investigation, drug-related paraphernalia was located. It was also determined that the suspect had been involved in a theft at a business in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard earlier in the day. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail. Charges of burglary, first-degree stealing and possession of drug paraphernalia are being sought.

March 15

8:56 a.m.: Tina Diann Manion, 24, of the 400 block of East Broadway Boulevard, was arrested after a traffic stop near the intersection of East Broadway Boulevard and South Marvin Avenue due to no license plates. In the course of the stop, it was learned Manion did not have a valid driver's license. She was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold. Officers say Manion was not compliant and was verbally abusive throughout the incident.

9:31 p.m.: Amber L. Green, 49, of the 500 block of West Fourth Street, was arrested after officers stopped a car in the area of West Fourth Street and South Grand Avenue for no plates. A check revealed Green had a suspended license. She was arrested and transported to the jail and was booked on a 24-hour for a state felony charge of driving without a valid license. Charges are also being submitted to the prosecutor for driving with a suspended license and driving without financial responsibility. 

9:52 p.m.: Sarah Elizabeth Gerloff, 23, of the 24000 block of 765 Highway, was arrested after officers responded to the 400 block of East Boonville Street for a theft report. The victim chose not to pursue charges because Gerloff had brought the item back. However, Gerloff was driving a vehicle with a suspended license. She was arrested for driving with a suspended license and transported to the police department. 

Incidents

March 11

2:04 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to a business in the 1400 block of South Limit Avenue for a report of failure to return rental property. The manager stated a suspect rented a washer and dryer set valued at $1,729 but after making three payments quit paying. The district manager sent certified mail to the address but was not able to locate or make contact with the suspect. They requested charges to be submitted against the renter.

2:20 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to a business in the 1400 block of South Limit Avenue for a report of failure to return rental property. A suspect had rented a $1,081.17 TV in November 2020 and quit making payments. A certified letter was sent and the suspect signed for it. When the district manager arrived at the suspects’ address outside the city limits to get the TV he was told by the suspect to get off the property and called the police. The district manager wants charges submitted against the suspect for failure to return rental property.

9:01 p.m.: William A. Foxworthy, 54, of California, was arrested in Moniteau County for felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of 10 grams or less of marijuana, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to equip a vehicle with a license plate light.
