Sedalia Police Department

Incidents

March 22

6:33 a.m.: An officer responded to the 200 block of East Main Street regarding a call of property damage. The victim reported that three windows were broken in their business overnight. The reported damage is $600. 

3:16 p.m.: An officer took a report at the police department regarding a theft that took place in the 400 block of North Prospect Avenue between June 2020 and March 2021. A report was completed to document the incident. The reported amount of money stolen from the victim is $7,000.

Incidents

March 22

2:30 p.m.: Deputies investigated the theft of a dog from the 26000 block of Goodwill Chapel Road. The investigation is ongoing. 

Missouri State Highway Patrol

Arrests

March 22

7:50 p.m.: Janai A. Butler, 20, of Florissant, was arrested in Saline County for possession of less than 10 grams of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
