Feb. 27

12:07 a.m.: Bryan J. Lauer, 22, of the 1000 block of East 13th Street, was issued a municipal court summons near the intersection of East 13th Street and South Washington Avenue for possession of marijuana. Officers conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle with a headlight out. The odor of marijuana was detected coming from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle and occupants revealed the passenger was in possession of marijuana.

Incidents

March 3

7:39 a.m.: A hit-and-run vehicle accident was reported in the 1100 block of East Seventh Street. The victim stated his 2002 Chevrolet pickup was struck while parked on Seventh Street, east of Summit Avenue. The striking vehicle left without leaving identifying information.

9:46 a.m.: An officer responded to the 1800 block of South Vermont Avenue in reference to a missing person report. The caller said his son ran away around 8 a.m. because he did not want to go to school. The juvenile was entered into NCIC and MULES as a missing person.
