This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

May 12

9:57 p.m.: J. Jesus Carlos Pasquale, 60, of the 600 block of School Avenue, was arrested after a vehicle stop near West Third Street and South State Fair Boulevard for driving without lights and failing to stop at the stop line. The driver had a revoked driver's license and was placed on a 24-hour hold at the Pettis County Jail pending a State charge of driving while revoked.

7:13 p.m.: Kelia Annette Quint, 36, of the 3100 block of South Washington Avenue, was arrested after officers responded to the 1800 block of South Washington Avenue for a report of property damage. The subject was in the front yard and had thrown bricks through a window. The victim requested prosecution and Quint was arrested without incident.

May 13

12:54 a.m.: Dustin M. Wilson, 39, of Green Ridge, was arrested after officers were dispatched to a business in the 100 block of East 16th Street for an assault report. The suspect had assaulted the victim and damaged his vehicle. Wilson was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail. He was found to be in possession of LSD and was arrested for drug possession, third-degree aggravated assault, and second-degree property damage.

1:12 a.m.: Dwayne D. Robinson, 40, of Sedalia, was arrested after being stopped for failing to maintain a lane several times and weaving. The driver was found to be in possession of a stolen vehicle, methamphetamine, cocaine, and hydrocodone, and impaired by drugs. He was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail for first-degree tampering, first-degree delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance - cocaine, possession of a controlled substance - hydrocodone, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while intoxicated - drugs.

4:33 a.m.: Jairo Jose Funez, 19, of the 700 block of Southwest State Fair Boulevard, was arrested after officers conducted a traffic stop for no license plate lights. Funez did not have a license and was transported to the police department and issued citations for no proof of insurance and operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver's license.

7:09 a.m.: Barry Jackson Monteer Jr., 25, of the 100 block of Villa Drive, was arrested after a motorcycle was observed speeding throughout Sedalia, disobeying law enforcement, driving through restricted areas of police property, and driving recklessly. The driver was eventually captured, arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail pending charges of two counts of fourth-degree resisting arrest, five counts of fourth-degree assault on law enforcement, driving while intoxicated, speeding, 10 counts of disobeying stop signs, trespassing, careless driving, and driving without a motorcycle endorsement.

11:55 p.m.: Carlotta Lombera, 38, of Illinois, was arrested after an SUV was stopped at a business in the 3500 block of West Broadway Boulevard for driving without tail lights. The driver was intoxicated and transported to the Pettis County Jail. She was booked and released for driving while intoxicated, which was enhanced to a class A misdemeanor due to children less than 17 years of age in the vehicle.

May 14

6:36 p.m.: Gerald Dewayne Anderson, 52, the 500 block of West Seventh Street, was arrested after a business in the 800 block of East Broadway Boulevard reported a theft. A person matching the description was contacted at West Broadway Boulevard and Carr Avenue and admitted to committing the theft. Anderson was arrested without incident.

8:09 p.m.: Juan M. Carlos, 51, of the 26000 block of Goodwill Chapel Road, was arrested after officers were dispatched to East Broadway Boulevard and South New York Avenue for a traffic complaint of a potentially intoxicated driver. Carlos was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail for driving while intoxicated - alcohol, prior offender.

9:45 p.m.: Mario Alberto Madrid, 40, of Sedalia, was arrested after officers were dispatched to a business in the 1400 block of South Limit Avenue for a subject trespassing. Madrid was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail for first-degree burglary.

May 15

12:27 a.m.: Noah Dale Earnhardt Quinn, 18, of Hollister, was arrested for driving while intoxicated - drugs after being contacted by officers in a parking lot in the 900 block of Mitchell Road. He was booked and released at the Pettis County Jail.

Incidents

May 9

4:22 p.m.: A victim in the 1000 block of East 14th Street came to the police headquarters to make a report. The victim stated her personal information had been used to open a Chase checking account. A general information report was completed for documentation.

May 11

2:55 p.m.: An officer attempted to perform a traffic stop on a vehicle for expired registration near East 13th Street and South Central Avenue. The vehicle evaded the officer at high speed and was not pursued. An investigation determined the identity of the driver, and charges of driving with a revoked driver's license have been submitted.

May 13

12:21 p.m.: An officer responded to the 900 block of Westwood Avenue regarding reported property damage and harassment. The victim reported their vehicle had been damaged in the parking lot. The total damage was estimated to be $300.

2:13 p.m.: Officers responded to the 300 block of East 24th Street regarding 12 stolen Banty chickens that had been taken overnight.

10:53 p.m.: Officers took a report of a missing firearm and muffler in the 1500 block of West Third Street. The reporting party said he was at Liberty Park and when he got home, he noticed the firearm and muffler were missing from his motorbike. Information was collected and a report was completed.

May 14

4:59 a.m.: A traffic stop conducted near South State Fair Boulevard and West 10th Street found license plates on a vehicle that did not belong to the vehicle owner. The plates were seized to be returned to the Department of Revenue.

Arrests

May 13

10:50 p.m.: Patrick McAulay, of Overland Park, Kansas, was arrested after the K9 unit conducted a traffic stop in the area of Highway M and McGee Road. The driver was found to be in possession of a firearm from the Kansas City Police Department, reportedly stolen in 1967. McAulay was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges.

Incidents

May 6

5:12 p.m.: Deputies took a stealing report in the 25000 block of Goodwill Chapel Road. The suspect has been identified and charges are being sought through the prosecutor.

Missouri State Highway Patrol

May 12

2:22 p.m.: Eric A. Morgan, 42, of Adrian, was arrested in Henry County for a felony Bates County warrant, four misdemeanor Bates County warrants and an infraction, possessing the plates of another vehicle and no valid driver's license. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

4:19 p.m.: Trevor A. Coon, 20, of Warsaw, was arrested in Benton County for driving while intoxicated. He was transported to the Benton County Jail and released.

11:30 p.m.: Shyann S. Cole, 25, of Warrensburg, was arrested in Johnson County for two counts of felony endangering the welfare of a child, driving while intoxicated - prior offender, speeding, a lane violation, driving with a suspended license, and resisting arrest. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department and released.

May 13

12:42 a.m.: Patrick Ioanis, 57, of Kansas City, was arrested in Saline County for driving while intoxicated and driving the wrong way on a divided highway. He was transported to the Saline County Jail and released.

9:28 p.m.: Jeffrey A. Schmutz, 62, of Warsaw, was arrested in Benton County for felony driving while intoxicated - aggravated offender and driving with a revoked license. He was transported to the Benton County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.

May 14

2:07 a.m.: Russell B. Hodge, 21, of Whiteman Air Force Base, was arrested in Johnson County for driving while intoxicated and speeding. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department and released.
