This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Nov. 12

12:16 a.m.: A vehicle was stopped for failing to maintain its lane and having a license plate light out. The driver had a strong odor of intoxicants coming from her breath and through the investigation, it was determined she was intoxicated. A breath sample showed her blood alcohol content was about .08. Brenda K. Reven, 60, of the 3300 block of South Marshall Avenue, was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

7:28 p.m.: A vehicle with no plates was stopped at West Fifth Street and South Harrison Avenue. During the stop, it was learned the driver had a revoked license. Lyndi M. Fox, 21, of the 1100 block of South Harrison Avenue, was arrested for driving with a revoked license.

Incidents

Nov. 11

11:32 p.m.: Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Rainbow Drive and West Second Street Terrace for an equipment violation. The driver was found in possession of marijuana and a pipe. The contraband was seized for destruction and no charges were being requested.

Nov. 12

3:41 a.m.: Officers conducted a vehicle check near the intersection of West 18th Street and South Kentucky Avenue. The vehicle was abandoned and found to be reported stolen out of Clinton. The vehicle was towed and the investigation is ongoing.

1:21 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 500 block of South Lafayette Avenue in reference to a missing persons report. The caller stated after a fight with an adult male known to them on Nov., 5 the male left and has not been seen since. The subject was entered into databases as a missing person.

6:24 p.m.: Officers responded to the 1800 block of West 11th Street for a report of property damage. The complainant stated between Nov. 7 and Nov. 12 the back window was broken out of a vehicle parked on the property valued at $500.

5:45 p.m.: Deputies arrested Carrie Bowers in the 25000 block of Bothwell Park Road in reference to an assault report.
