This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests
Nov. 17
5:23 p.m.: Nathanael A. David, 32, of the 2800 block of South Ingram Avenue, was arrested after an officer responded to Break Time, 808 East Broadway Boulevard, for a verbal disturbance. A computer check revealed one of the two subjects had a revoked driver’s license yet had driven to the store. David was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending State charges of driving with a revoked license. 
Nov. 18
12:47 p.m.: James William Dingus Fague, 33, of the 18000 block of Mesa Drive, was arrested after a traffic stop in the 1700 block of West Main Street. The suspect had an active Pettis County warrant and was arrested. Drug-related items were found inside the vehicle and Fague was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked, and released pending the filing of State charges of drug violation possession - other dangerous drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, and the failure to appear warrant. 
Nov. 19
1:16 a.m.: Frankie Elmer Bishop, 70, of the 1500 block of West 16th Street, was arrested after a traffic stop in the area of West 16th Street and South Barrett Avenue for failure to use a turn signal. Investigation determined that the driver was intoxicated, so Bishop was transported to the Sedalia Police Department, processed, and released with a municipal charge of driving while intoxicated. 
Incidents
Nov. 14
2:24 p.m.: Officers responded with Pettis County deputies to the 3300 Block of South Washington Avenue for a warrant check. Contact was made with a male suspect known to have an active Pettis County arrest warrant. The male suspect was arrested, and allowed officers to search the area of the home which he had control over. In the area items of drug paraphernalia were located. The subject was transported to the Pettis County Jail where he was booked on his active warrant. State charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia are also being sought. 
Nov. 18
8:19 a.m.: Officers responded to the 1700 block of West Ninth Street in reference to a possible burglary. It was discovered the front doors of Chrome Cutz and Sunkiss’d Tanning had been smashed. It did not appear entry was made into Chrome Cutz, however $50 in cash was missing from Sunkiss’d Tanning. The total value of the damage that occurred during the theft was estimated at approximately $1,850. No suspects have been located at this time.
9:36 a.m.: A victim called the police department to report a theft from his vehicle in the 700 block of Wilkerson Street. The victim reported that a firearm had been taken from his vehicle within the past six weeks.
11:38 a.m. An officer was dispatched to the 1700 block of South Osage Avenue for a report of theft. The victim stated that sometime between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning someone stole his green 2000 Kawasaki 200 valued at $2,000 and his dark blue 2000 Yamaha Razz valued at $800, there are no suspects at this time.
6:19 p.m.: Officers responded to the 400 block of East Howard Street for a report of found property. A Missouri ID was found in the resident’s front yard and brought to the police department to be placed into evidence for safekeeping.
8:16 p.m.: Officers observed a vehicle running a red light. Investigation showed illegal items within the vehicle which were seized for destruction. The driver was released from the same with citations for disobeying a signal light and no seat belt. 
Nov. 20
11:20 a.m.: A subject from the 300 block of West Third Street brought a firearm into the police department to turn in for safekeeping. The firearm was placed into evidence.

Nov. 17
12:12 a.m.: Jaylen E. Woods, 21, of Kansas City, Missouri, was arrested in Saline County for felony possession of a controlled substance - 71 grams of marijuana, felony distribution, and felony unlawful use of a weapon. He was transported to the Saline County Jail and released.
Nov. 19
3:19 a.m.: Gerallynn E. Williams, 39, of Blue Springs, was arrested in Johnson County for driving while intoxicated and an equipment violation. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department and released.
