This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

Sept. 12

3:03 p.m.: Aaron Josiah Sadler, 35, of the 1600 block of Carr Avenue, was arrested after officers were dispatched to a subject yelling profanities at neighbors and making comments about having weapons and bombing people. Sadler was located and arrested for disturbance of the peace. 

Sept. 13

11:40 a.m.: Dawn M. Neill, 41, of the 30000 block of Hill Road, was arrested after an officer responded to West Ninth Street and South Warren Avenue for a disturbance. Neill was found in possession of drug paraphernalia and was released from the scene. Charges are being requested for possession of drug paraphernalia. Patrick L. Daughtery, 49, of the 30000 block of Hill Road, was also arrested, booked, and released with charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor marijuana possession. 

Incidents

Sept. 13

9:15 a.m.: Officers responded to a business in the 1200 block of East Boonville Road in reference to a theft. Officer spoke with the reporting party, who stated an individual was seen on their security camera tampering with the air conditioning unit. The suspect is currently unknown. 

4:21 p.m.: Officers responded to the 600 block of Wilkerson Street for a report of a burglary in progress. It was determined the incident was not a burglary but a civil issue. In speaking with one of the tenants, it was determined that a theft not associated with the burglary call may have occurred.

4:35 p.m.: Officers took a report in reference to an assault in the 900 block of East Fourth Street. The reporting party stated his roommate and the roommate's sister assaulted him in his home.

Arrests

Sept. 13

2:24 p.m.: Raul Martinez, 42, of Memphis, Tennessee, was arrested in Saline County for driving while intoxicated and driving with a suspended driver's license. He was transported to the Saline County Jail and released.
