Sept. 15
5:49 p.m.: Akeisha D. Sims, 28, of the 800 block of East Sixth Street, was arrested after officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance. Sims was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail. She was placed on a 24-hour hold pending state charges of third-degree domestic assault.
Sept. 16
11 a.m.: Don Anthony Rodrigues, 49, of the 30000 block of Ball Road, was arrested after an officer responded to Liberty Park for a trespassing report. The subject was issued a trespass warning from Liberty Park and was deemed unfit to care for himself due to intoxication. He was arrested and put on a 12-hour safekeeping hold at the Pettis County Jail.
6:45 p.m.: Cleo Patrice Marshall, 63, of the 400 block of West Cooper Street, was issued a summons after an officer was dispatched to the 500 block of North Moniteau Avenue for an animal running at large. The owner was contacted and issued a citation for having an animal at large.
8:05 p.m.: Aubrey K. Burks, 34, of the 100 block of South Quincy Avenue, was arrested after a traffic stop for defective headlights at North Osage Avenue and West Morgan Street. The driver had a suspended license through the state of Missouri and was issued a summons.

Sept. 15
4:20 p.m.: An officer took a report from a subject who came into the police department and stated he accidentally left $60 at a self-checkout register at a business in the 700 block of East Broadway Boulevard. The victim stated that when he returned to the register the money was missing. At the time of the report a suspect has not been identified.
4:25 p.m.: An officer took a report except in the police department lobby. The complainant, management with a business in the 1300 block of South Limit Avenue, advised that an employee of the business stole several Missouri lottery tickets over the course of nearly a month. The suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
4:32 p.m.: Officers responded to the 700 block of West Broadway Boulevard for a report of a runaway juvenile. A male and female subject reported that their foster child had just run away from home.
5:14 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 1600 block of Heck Avenue for a report of theft. The victim stated he had a subject come over to his house the night before and when the subject left he noticed $420 cash was missing.
8:06 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to a business in the 700 block of West 16th Street in reference to a theft. The caller said a customer had walked out of the store with two bottles of liquor in his pocket. The caller was unsure of what the bottles the subject stole were. No arrests have been made at this time.
Sept. 16
1:57 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 1100 block of East Sixth Street in reference to a disturbance. The victim said she had been assaulted by her boyfriend and a witness said they were also assaulted. The suspect left the area and was not located. A request for charges of third-degree domestic assault and fourth-degree assault has been submitted to the prosecutor.
8:54 a.m.: An officer responded to the SPD lobby for a forgery report. A woman found a counterfeit $20 bill while counting the store drawer and wished the bill to be destroyed. She did not wish to pursue charges.
3:09 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard for a report of property damage. The victim stated that while she was at work someone slashed one of her tires. The victim estimated the damage at $81.
7:47 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 1500 block of South Moniteau Avenue in reference to a theft. When he arrived, the caller said someone had stolen his live trap valued at $75. The victim had video of the theft. No arrests have been made at this time.
10:19 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to take a missing person report in the 1100 block of South Harding Avenue. The subject has been entered into the system as a missing person.
11:53 p.m.: Officers responded to the 600 block of South Barrett Avenue for a report of a missing juvenile. Attempts were made to locate the juvenile, but they were unsuccessful. The juvenile has been entered as missing.
Sept. 17
3:27 a.m.: Officers were in the area of South Engineer Avenue and East Fourth Street for a suspicious person call where subjects were seen around a vehicle in someone's yard. When confronted by the homeowner they fled. Officers noticed a black SUV driving down the alleyways in an apparent attempt to avoid detection. Police attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle which fled, beginning a pursuit that continued until city limits where the vehicle fled south on South Marshall Avenue.

Sept. 16
8 a.m.: Deputies took a report that unknown subject(s) damaged part of the fiber-optic wire near East Boonville Road in rural Pettis County belonging to Central Missouri Electric Co-op of Sedalia.
9 a.m.: Deputies took a report of illegal dumping in the 29000 block of Backbone Road.
Unreported time: Deputies responded to a business in the 4700 block of South Limit Avenue for a burglary not in progress. During the investigation, deputies were able to identify the suspect as Gary Barnett. At this time, Barnett's location is unknown.
