Arrests

Sept. 20

9:14 p.m.: Justin P. Wilson, 30, of the 1400 block of South Limit Avenue, was arrested after officers were dispatched to the 2500 block of West Broadway Boulevard for an assault. The suspect had punched the victim before running off and was located and arrested for fourth-degree assault and transported to the Pettis County Jail.

Incidents

Sept. 20

9:09 p.m.: Officers took a report of the theft of jewelry and other items from a residence in the 500 block of North Missouri Avenue. The victim stated the value of the items is $6,322. A subject has been identified.

Arrests

Sept. 20

6:06 p.m.: Cornelius A. Read, of Sedalia, was arrested after the Pettis County K-9 unit conducted a traffic stop in the area of Ninth Street and Ohio Avenue in Sedalia for a vehicle failing to display plates. Read was arrested for driving with a suspended license, transported to the Pettis County Jail, and released.

Sept. 21

8:58 p.m.: Lori Hadley, of Sedalia, was arrested on charges of first-degree burglary and drug possession after deputies were dispatched to the 4800 block of South Limit Avenue in reference to a female subject in the parking lot with a pink stethoscope around her neck looking into vehicles with a flashlight. The K-9 unit arrested Hadley and transported her to the Pettis County Jail for possession of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid.

Sept. 20

11:59 a.m.: Deputies took a report of vehicle theft in the 31000 block of Whiteman Road in Mora. 

3 p.m.: A spare tire from a livestock trailer was reported either lost or stolen on the 17000 block of Ream Spring Road in Pettis County. The investigation continues.

Arrests 

Sept. 20

1:10 p.m.: John D. Tipton, 37, of Webb City, was arrested in Saline County for felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of up to 10 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving with a revoked license. He was transported to the Saline County Jail and released.

1:10 p.m.: Nora E. Nance, 39, of Joplin, was arrested in Saline County for felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was transported to the Saline County Jail and released.

1:10 p.m. Edward A. Evans, 54, of Joplin, was arrested in Saline County for felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Saline County Jail and released.
