The Sedalia Public Library is celebrating National Library Card Month in September. The public is invited to stop by the library, 311 W. Third St., to get a free library card, regardless of where one lives.
Those wanting a card should bring a current ID and/or proof of address. The first 50 people to come in for a card for the first time will get a canvas tote bag courtesy of Ditzfeld Inc. Current patrons who bring in their library card for the first time can enter for a drawing for a $50 gift card.
