Raines-Arnold wedding

Melody Raines and Eric Arnold, both of Sweet Springs, were married Nov. 14 at Real Life Church in Sedalia. The bride is the daughter of Wayne and Donna Raines, of Otterville. The groom is the son of Reeca and the late Donald Arnold, of Higginsville, formerly of Houstonia.

Pastor Logan Patrick conducted the ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father. The maid of honor was Kimberly González, of Sedalia. The bridesmaids were Kennedy Sablan and Kaydence Sablan, both daughters of the bride. The flower girls were Kimberly Sablan, daughter of the bride, and Annabelle Arnold, daughter of the bride and groom.

The best man was Dennis Arnold, of Smithton, uncle of the groom.

The bride graduated in 2001 from Smithton High School. She received a bachelor’s in 2008 from Missouri State University and a MBA in 2011 from Ashford University. She works as a construction superintendent for G4 Construction.

The groom graduated in 2003 from Northwest High School. He is a carpenter foreman with J.E. Dunn Construction.

A reception was hosted at the home of Dennis and Brenda Arnold in Smithton.

A honeymoon isn’t planned at this time due to COVID-19.
