The Salvation Army is hosting a blanket and canned food drive from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22 at CVS Pharmacy, 100 E. Broadway Blvd. The Salvation Army said the drive will help keep the homeless and needy safe from the elements of winter and hunger through the donations of gently used, freshly laundered blankets and canned foods.
