Eddie and Virginia (Fisher) Schouten, of La Monte, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Dec. 16.
The couple was married on Dec. 16, 1961, at the bride’s parents’ home in Chilhowee by the Rev. David Holden.
They have four children Michael (Sherry) Schouten, Douglas (Loretta) Schouten, Richard (Amy) Schouten, and Stacy Schouten.
Family and friends are welcome to come to celebrate their anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 11 at the United Methodist Church’s Jubilation Center in Knob Noster.
The couple requests no gifts.
