A Sedalia woman, 48, and a Sedalia man, 50, were killed at 4:17 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, in a Pettis County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the Sedalia man was driving a 2015 Toyota Camry south on Missouri Route M at U.S. Highway 50 when he entered the intersection on a green light and was struck by a westbound 2004 Mack dump truck driven by a 36-year-old man from Shelbina.
Everyone was reportedly wearing a seat belt. The occupant was released to the coroner and the driver was transported to Bothwell Regional Hospital by Life Flight.
