Arrests

Oct. 3

8:50 a.m.: Timothy L. Peck, 35, was arrested after a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle in the 4200 block of West Main Street. The driver did not have a driver's license or insurance and was transported to Pettis County Jail pending charges of speeding, no driver's license and no insurance.

2:50 p.m.: David Jakie Wayne Peak, 40, was arrested after a traffic stop near Broadway Boulevard and State State Fair Boulevard on a vehicle with obstructed vision. A K-9 was deployed and alerted positively for contraband. The passenger was placed under arrest for unlawful possession of a firearm, resisting arrest, armed criminal action and unlawful possession of a concealable weapon. Peak was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.

8:17 p.m.: Jacob Christopher Pardee, 25, was arrested after officers conducted a vehicle stop for speeding 72 mph in a 35. The driver was transported to the police department and released with summons’ for speeding and careless and imprudent driving.

9:23 p.m.: Zane Robert Renison Hieronymus, 22, was arrested after an officer attempted to stop a motorcycle that was driving carelessly on West Broadway Boulevard near South State Fair Blvd. The bike fled out of city limits but the officer was able to find the rider’s address and arrested him there accompanied by a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper. The suspect was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released with charges of resisting arrest and careless driving.

9:32 p.m.: Aaron Dale Welch, 30, was arrested after an officer was dispatched to Budweiser, 1800 Eagle View Drive, in reference to a disturbance. An intoxicated man was starting altercations and refusing to leave. The officer made contact and restrained Welch with the assistance of an off-duty officer. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour protective custody hold.

Oct. 4

12:18 p.m.: Franck W. Ascensio, 38, was arrested after officers observed a vehicle with expired plates near 16th Street and Ohio Avenue. The driver had no driver’s license nor insurance on the vehicle and had not registered it. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released for failure to register a vehicle, no insurance and no operator's license.

1:34 p.m.: Bimo Masao, 35, was arrested after a traffic stop at the intersection of 14th Street and Montgomery Avenue on a vehicle with expired registration. The occupant opened a shooter of American Honey, consumed it and threw the open container on the street. Masao was issued citations for violation of the open container ordinance and littering.

3:04 p.m.: Jose Leon Gonzalez, 41, was arrested after a vehicle was observed with its hazard lights on failing to signal near South Moniteau Avenue and Wilkerson Street. The driver was intoxicated and had a suspended driving status. He was transported to the police department and issued uniform traffic tickets.

4:01 p.m.: Lee A. Worthy, 65, was arrested after officers conducted a follow-up in the 1400 block of South Park Avenue. A suspect was identified, transported to Bothwell and released to the care of the hospital with citations for peace disturbance and non-injury domestic assault.

Oct. 5

12:30 a.m.: Sergio Aguilar Ibarra, 54, was arrested after a vehicle stop at the Sunset Motel, 3615 South Limit Ave. The driver had no driving status and was transported to the police department where he was issued a uniform traffic ticket.

3:38 a.m.: Evan Matthew Potts, 27, was arrested after an officer was dispatched to South Limit Avenue and West 16th Street in reference to a traffic accident. The driver was intoxicated and was transported to the police department, issued a uniform traffic ticket for DWI and released.

10:26 a.m.: Nicholas William Elder, 46, was arrested after officers were dispatched to the 300 block of South Limit Avenue for a well-being check. The driver was under the influence and in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending charges of DWI - drugs and drug possession.

12:38 p.m.: Bobby Lee Jackson III, 29, was arrested after an officer responded to Smith-Cotton High School, 2010 Tiger Pride Blvd, for a person of interest in a hit-and-run crash. The suspect was located and transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending a charge of leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident.

Sept. 29

1:58 p.m.: Officers took a report in the lobby of the police department for a theft in the 800 block of Brentwood Avenue.

Sept. 30

3:27 p.m.: A woman turned in a social security card she located in the street near West 10th and South Kentucky Avenue.

Oct. 3

12:44 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to a theft report near the intersection of East Seventh Street and South Washington Avenue. The victim said their vehicle was stolen. It was entered into the stolen vehicle database.

6:19 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of South Quincy Avenue for a fraud report. They gathered information for a report.

4:48 p.m.: A caller said property was found near Seventh Street and South Ohio Avenue during the homecoming parade. The property was placed in the property room at the police department for safekeeping.

11:23 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of South Park Avenue for an assault report. They made contact with the reporting party and gathered information for a report.

Oct. 4

12:46 a.m.: An officer responded to Miney Moe's Laundromat, 1400 South Limit Ave, in reference to suspicious activity. Contact was made with the complainant who reported a man came into the business and attempted to start a fire inside the bathroom. It was damaged but it did not spread the remainder of the business.

9:23 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to Shoe Sensation, 3107 Broadway Blvd, for a report of theft from several days ago. The caller said they had a female subject come through and steal a pair of youth boots. The incident was captured on a security camera.

9:50 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to a theft in the 400 block of North Engineer Avenue. The complainant said their blue city recycling can was stolen.

9:27 p.m.: Officers responded to the 700 block of East Fifth Street in reference to an assault. The victim stated while walking home a vehicle drove by and shot her with paintballs causing injury. At this time the investigation is ongoing.

Oct. 5

2:04 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 400 block of South Babcock Avenue in reference to a disturbance. The caller said a friend had torn the camera off his house and it was discovered a door on his vehicle had been kicked with an estimated $1,000 in damage. A request for the charge of first-degree property damage has been submitted to the prosecutor.

3:27 p.m.: An officer responded to Bomgaars, 2424 South Limit Ave. for shoplifting. The suspect left the scene before being identified but a report was made on the incident.

9:05 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to the lobby of the police department for a report of the violation of an order of protection near South Limit Avenue and West Broadway Blvd. Both parties were spoken with and no arrests were made.

11:19 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 600 block of East 13th Street for a report of found property. The caller said she let someone stay the night at her residence and they left their medication at her home. An officer attempted to contact the subject but was unsuccessful so the medication was placed into evidence for safekeeping.

Oct. 6

3:06 a.m.: An officer responded to the 500 block of South State Fair Avenue in regard to a civil dispute and verbal disturbance over vehicles and firearms. One subject was trying to reclaim a vehicle and firearms from the other. Due to one subject's intoxication as well as concerns over mental health, two firearms were seized and held at the police department for safekeeping.

Oct. 4

10:56 a.m.: A Sedalia resident reported that his front license plate was lost.

1:54 p.m.: Deputies were dispatched to the 24000 block of Birdsong Road for a property damage report.

3:49 p.m.: A deputy was dispatched to Hwy B and Hwy E for a vehicle blocking a lane of travel. It was located and towed by In-Motion Towing.

Oct. 3

9:59 p.m.: Andrew A. Burton, 31, of Warrensburg was arrested in Benton County for driving while intoxicated, a lane violation and no seat belt. He was released.

Oct. 4

12:19 a.m.: Jeffrey B. Fedorkiw, 51, of Centerview was arrested in Johnson County for driving while intoxicated, speeding and failure to properly affixed plates. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department and released.

6 a.m.: Charles E. Greene, 62, of Deepwater was arrested in Henry County for driving while intoxicated. He was transported to the Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton and released.

Oct. 5

11:18 p.m.: Kolby T. Page, 26, of Warrensburg was arrested in Johnson County for driving while intoxicated - prior offender. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department and released.
