Due to dangerously cold weather conditions expected this week, trash pick-up services provided by the City of Sedalia will start at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16 and Wednesday, Feb. 17 for automated truck routes. Routes with a rear load truck with laborers emptying carts using manual tipping devices will not be collected on Tuesday. The Tuesday rear load routes will be picked up on Wednesday, Feb. 17 and Thursday, Feb. 18.
Due to the delayed start time, some routes may be picked up a day later than normal. Residents are asked to place their trash carts out for collection on their regular trash pick-up day and leave their carts out until collected.
