Mr. and Mrs. Gerry L. Tavener, of Sedalia, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to Iceland next year.
Barbara Ann Binder and Gerry L. Tavener were married June 5, 1971, at Sacred Heart Church in Sedalia.
Mr. Tavener is retired from the United States Post Office in Sedalia. Mrs. Tavener is retired from the Otterville R-VI School District.
They have three children, Michael Tavener, of Rocky Mount, April Seggerman, of St. Charles, and Robert Tavener, of Sedalia; and two grandchildren.
