Mr. and Mrs. Mevin and Thierfelder will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a reception, planned by their children, from 2 to 5 p.m. April 30 at the Otterville Community Building, 211 E. Grover St. in Otterville.
Joann Arnold and Mevin Thierfelder were married at Lamine Baptist Church on April 29, 1962, by Pastor William Morgan.
The couple was blessed with four children, M. Chris (Mary) Thierfelder, Leslie (Christie) Thierfelder, Mike (Nancy) Thierfelder and Melissa (Kenneth) Schlesselmann; 14-plus grandchildren, 25-plus great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
The family invites friends and family to celebrate their special day. They will serve cake, punch, coffee and bottled water. If unable to attend due to illness or other commitments, cards may be sent to the couple at 32473 Olive Branch Road, Sedalia, Mo. 65301.
