Three arrested after Mill Avenue raid

Two people have been arrested after a drug-related search warrant was served Wednesday.

According to a Sedalia Police Department news release, around 11:35 a.m. Nov. 24, members of the Crime Resolution Unit and Uniformed Operations Bureau responded to the 400 block of North Mill Avenue to serve a search warrant related to an active investigation involving drug activity, and information regarding numerous individuals with active warrants staying at the home. Upon arrival, contact was made at the front door with one of the residents and entry was gained into the home. 

Inside, officers made contact with four male subjects, and a female subject was located hiding in a bedroom. A search of the residence revealed methamphetamine, marijuana and items of drug paraphernalia. 

At the conclusion of the investigation, three suspects were arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail: 

Ahmad J. Dupree, 29, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and placed on a 24-hour hold.

Christina M. Carlock, 33, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and identity theft. She was also arrested for a failure to appear warrant for identity theft with a $2,500 bond.

A third suspect was arrested for a failure to appear warrant for identity theft with a $5,000 bond.

In addition to the arrest and state charges, the residence was determined to be in violation of Sedalia City Ordinance 36-96, Prohibition Against Maintaining a Nuisance Property. The residence was posted with notice of the violation, mandating the property owner resolve the violations within 60 days.
