Truman State University has released the names of students who graduated at the conclusion of the spring semester.
Cum laude recognizes those who earned a grade point average of 3.50-3.74. Magna cum laude is for graduates with a grade point average of 3.75-3.89. Summa cum laude honors graduates with a grade point average of 3.9 or better.
To conduct an in-person ceremony for graduates and their families, Truman expanded spring commencement this year and hosted seven ceremonies between May 7-8. All events took place in Pershing Arena. Graduates were allowed two guests, and all ceremonies were livestreamed for those unable to attend in person.
