Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans’ Hospital will host a telephone town hall meeting for Veterans from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20.
Approximately 10,000 veterans will be contacted randomly for participation. However, any veteran may attend the virtual event by dialing 1-833-380-0665. The telephone number will not be active until just before the virtual town hall meeting begins.
The Sept. 20 tele-town hall will cover topics to include the expansion of VA’s Caregiver Support Program, information about the PACT Act, burn pit and other registries, as well as new facility construction ― to include community-based outpatient clinic (CBOC) updates.
Following the town hall presentations, veterans may ask questions that will be addressed by Truman VA leadership.
