Two additional deaths attributed to COVID-19 in Pettis County

Pettis County added 77 confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to 3,381, according to the Pettis County Health Center. These numbers reflect cases from Tuesday and Wednesday. The health center also reported the death of two additional residents in Pettis County, bringing the total to 34.

There are now 766 active cases and 2,581 residents have been released to normal activity. Thirty residents are now hospitalized seeking treatment for the virus.

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported a seven-day total of 19,791 cases on Wednesday or an average of 2,827 per day. There were a total of 75 deaths attributed to COVID-19 in Missouri during the last seven days, representing an average of 11 deaths per day.
