Mr. and Mrs. Ted Williams, of Sedalia, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a family dinner Nov. 21.
Merrilyn Struck and Ted Williams were married Nov. 21, 1981, at the First Christian Church in Carrollton.
Mr. Williams is the owner of Williams Family Farms, Inc. and Mrs. Williams is retired from State Fair Community College.
They have two children Laura (Jeremy) Goss, of Cole Camp, and Melissa (Wyatt) Shipman, of Blue Springs; and two grandchildren Will and Emma Shipman.
The couple is planning an anniversary trip at a later date.
