Yoga teachers host free classes in September

Posted

Free indoor and outdoor yoga classes were offered by members of the Sedalia Area Yoga Teachers Association for National Yoga Month in September.

Longtime member Catherine Koenig said she was glad to move back to Sedalia after nearly two years. She attended classes of other members, both of whom are registered with the world and national yoga teachers’ registry, Yoga Alliance; RYT 500 Robyn Wadley and E RYT 500 Irene Renauld.

Wadley’s studio, Soul Full Yoga, offered a complimentary class chosen by the attendee from the many styles and levels available. Last month featured yoga for first responders and educators. Classes are taught there at least five days a week. She has decided to continue that, along with discounts on paid classes through October. Participants can practice the easiest, Restorative Yoga, to the most challenging, 90-degree Hot Yoga.

Renauld led an hour of easy flow at 1 p.m. Sept. 29 at Liberty Park. She teaches Gentle Yoga Flow at Body Retreat 2 at 11 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.

More yoga teachers can be contacted through the Sedalia Area Yoga Teachers Association Facebook page.
