Overland Park woman hurt in Henry County crash

Caitlin M. Murphy, 32, of Overland Park, Kansas, sustained minor injuries at 12:18 p.m. Thursday in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred as a 2017 Toyota Tacoma driven south by Zachary J. Murphy, 24, of Olathe, Kansas, on state Route 13 struck the rear of a 2024 Kenworth tractor driven by Varender Singh, 21, of Bakersfield, California.

Everyone was wearing a seat belt. Murphy was transported by Golden Valley ambulance to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.

Two hurt in Johnson County accident

Marilyn K. Warren, 70, of Holden, suffered moderate injuries and Steven B. Myers, 64, of Versailles, suffered minor injuries at 5:31 p.m. Friday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Warren south on state Route 58 at U.S. Highway 50 failed to yield to a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Myers east on U.S. 50.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Myers refused treatment at the scene and Warren was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Jeff City man hurt in Johnson County accident

Codi A. Walker, 32, of Jefferson City, suffered minor injuries at 7:28 p.m. Friday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Walker was driving a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox west on U.S. Highway 50 just east of the Route 13 bypass when he traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a bridge. The vehicle then caught on fire.

Walker was transported to the Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg. He was wearing a seat belt.

Two hurt in Moniteau County ATV accident

Ashley R. Hollowbaugh, 27, of California, suffered minor injuries and Joshua W. Wangerlin, 31, also of California, suffered moderate injuries at 8:03 p.m. Saturday in a Moniteau County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Wangerlin was driving a 2016 Polaris Sportsman south in the 31000 block of Highway 87 when he traveled off the south edge of the roadway and struck a guardrail. Both occupants were ejected.

Neither was wearing a safety device. Hollowbaugh was not transported and Wangerlin was transported by Mid-MO Ambulance District to Capital Regional Medical Center in Jefferson City.
