One killed, one seriously injured in Henry County accident

Jesse F. Raybourn, 41, of Deepwater, was killed and Jamie Vogel, 46, of Shell City, sustained serious injuries at 10:15 p.m. Saturday in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Raybourn was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe east on Route Z when he traveled off the right side of the roadway. The vehicle struck an embankment, became airborne and struck a tree.

He was pronounced dead by Coroner Dain Sisk. Vogel was taken to Golden Valley Hospital in Clinton. It is unknown if either occupant was wearing a seat belt.

Warrensburg man hurt in Johnson accident

Da Shaun N. Wynn, 31, of Warrensburg, sustained minor injuries at 3:48 p.m. Saturday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Wynn was driving a 2016 GMC Acadia south on Business 13 when he struck a 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt driven east by Bradley A. Yates, 49, of Warrensburg.

It is unknown if Yates was wearing a seat belt, but Wynn was. Wynn was transported by private vehicle to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Lowry City woman hurt in Johnson County accident

Emma A. Snyder, 23, of Lowry City, sustained minor injuries at 5:25 p.m. Saturday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Kevin D. Snyder was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche north on state Route 13 when his vehicle hydroplaned off the right side of the road, struck a fence and overturned.

Both occupants were wearing seat belts. Emma Snyder was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Holden man hurt in Johnson County motorcycle accident

Lucas B. Wheeler, 30, of Holden, sustained minor injuries at 6:15 p.m. Sunday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Wheeler was driving a 2008 YZF R6 south on Southwest 271 Road when he failed to navigate a curve. His vehicle traveled off the left side of the road and overturned.

He was not wearing a helmet and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Barnett man hurt in Morgan County mishap

Brent L. Gabbard, 25, of Barnett, suffered minor injuries at 2:59 p.m. Sunday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Gabbard was driving north on Route AA in a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado when the vehicle hydroplaned, traveled off the left side of the road, and struck a utility pole and a fence.

Gabbard was wearing a seat belt and was transported by private vehicle to St. Mary's Medical Center in Blue Springs.

Marshall man hurt in Saline County rollover

Justin G. Loggins, 37, of Marshall, suffered minor injuries at 3:30 p.m. Friday in a Saline County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Loggins was driving a 2013 Freightliner just north of I-70 when he experienced a mechanical failure, causing the vehicle to travel off the exit ramp and overturn.

Loggins was not wearing a seat belt and was transported by Saline County Ambulance District to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.

Kansas City man injured in Saline County hit-and-run

Santo Jimenez Marte, 43, of Kansas City, suffered moderate injuries at 12:24 a.m. Saturday in a Saline County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, an unknown driver crossed the centerline of westbound I-70 and struck the side of a 2009 Chevrolet Traverse driven west by Marte.

Marte was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence by Saline County Ambulance District.
