Kiwanis of Sedalia hosted the annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast, Saturday, May 1, at the United Methodist Church Celebration Center.

Recognition Awards were presented to youth in the community who were nominated by their pastor for demonstrating leadership in their church, participating in community service and maintaining a good academic record. Mayor John Kehde spoke to the group and also handed out the Recognition Awards.

The main speaker was Dr. Teresa Gatton, who gave a thought-provoking motivational talk on personal development.
