This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.
10:17 a.m.: David Lee Aldridge Jr., 42, of the 1300 block of Park Avenue, was arrested after officers conducted a follow-up in reference to a previous theft report in the 1300 block of South Park Avenue. They identified Aldrich and he was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released with a municipal summons for stealing.
5:31 p.m.: Noah Joseph Raider, 41, of the 1400 block of South Park Avenue, was arrested after he was identified in the SPD lobby in reference to a previous theft report. Officers placed Raider under arrest and transported him to the Pettis County Jail. He was booked and released with a municipal summons.
2:34 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to a forgery report in the 1300 block of South Limit Avenue. A suspect came into the store and attempted to use a fake $20 bill to pay for items. The counterfeit money was seized and charges are being submitted to the state prosecutor.
11:18 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to a private business in the 600 block of South Ohio Avenue for a report of property damage. They gathered information for a report.
