When I was middle school age, I drifted off to sleep every night with my transistor radio playing underneath my pillow. As a result, the hit tunes of the 1960s nurtured a love of pop music that would follow me through my teenage years and beyond.Even today, if the part of my brain where music lives were a pie chart, the classical rock of that time would make up the biggest piece.
