Three transported after Benton County accident

A 31-year-old man from Belton suffered minor injuries, a 35-year-old man from Kansas City suffered minor injuries and a 37-year-old man from Windsor suffered serious injuries at 4:20 p.m. Sunday, April 13, in a Benton County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 1999 Dodge driven south on Missouri Highway 7 at Cold Springs Road by a 17-year-old man from Edwards overtook and struck the rear of a 2014 Toyota driven south by a 32-year-old woman from Basehor, Kansas. 

Although the drivers were wearing seat belts, none of the occupants of the Toyota were. The Belton and Kansas City men were transported by Warsaw Lincoln EMS to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton. The Windsor man was transported by air ambulance to Research Hospital in Kansas City.

Two transported to hospital after Johnson County collision

A Defiance man, 20, suffered minor injuries and a Warrensburg man, 23, sustained moderate injuries at 9:45 p.m. Saturday, April 12, in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2014 Ford Fusion driven north on North College Avenue by a 20-year-old Independence man failed to yield and struck a 2020 Ford driven west on East Culton Street by the Warrensburg man.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts. The Defiance man was transported by the Warrensburg Police Department to Western Missouri Medical Center. The Warrensburg man was transported there by Johnson County Ambulance District.

Eight year old on bike hurt in Moniteau County accident

A Latham Missouri juvenile, 8, suffered minor injuries at 8:18 a.m. Frida, April 11, in a Moniteau County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the bicyclist pulled into the path of a 2015 Ford F-150 driven by a 76-year-old Barnett man east on Route E at Market Street.

The child was not wearing a helmet and was transported by private conveyance to Capital Regional Medical Center in Jefferson City.

Two Harleys collide sending Richland man to hospital

A Richland man, 54, suffered moderate injuries at 2:49 p.m. Sunday, April 13, in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2013 Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven south on Missouri Route 135 at Missouri Route 5 by the Richland man drove into the rear of a 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by a 61-year-old man from Lebanon south as he slowed to stop at a stop sign.

Neither cyclist was wearing a helmet, the injured man was transported by Lake West ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
