Two drivers hurt in Johnson County collision

A 68-year-old woman from Williamsburg,Kansas and a 41-year-old man from Lee's Summit suffered minor injuries at 3:05 p.m. Friday, April 18, in a Johnson County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the woman was driving a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee and attempted to turn onto Route Z and failed to yield to a 2021 Ram 1500 driven west by the Lee’s Summit man. The Ram truck impacted the Jeep.

Both the drivers were wearing seat belts. The man refused treatment and the woman was  transported by private vehicle to an unknown hospital.

Sedalia man hurt in Johnson County accident

A Sedalia man, 27, suffered minor injuries at 8:42 p.m. Friday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2010 Ford Fusion east on U.S. Highway 50 when he traveled off the north side of the road and impacted a ditch.

The driver was wearing a seat belt and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Three transported after Johnson County accident

A 25-year-old man from Warrensburg suffered minor injuries, a 37-year-old woman from Warrensburg suffered moderate injuries, and an unknown aged female from Warrensburg suffered serious injuries at 5:32 p.m. Saturday, April 19, in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2021 Toyota Camry driven by the 25-year-old man from Warrensburg North on Business Highway 13 was passing multiple cars on a hill when a ram 2001 Ram 1500 driven by the Warrensburg woman swerved to miss the Camry, which swerved at the same time and the two cars collided.

Everyone was wearing a seat belt except the 37-year-old woman. The injured were transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg. 

Two transported after Johnson County rollover

A 7-year-old boy from Centerview suffered minor injury, a 25-year-old male from Centerview suffered minor injury and a 27-year-old female from Centerview suffered moderate injury at 11:53 a.m. Sunday, April 20, in a Johnson County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred as a 2006 Dodge Durango driven by the man south on Route UU at County Road Northwest 400 traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned. 

Everyone except the woman was wearing a seat belt. The 25-year-old refused treatment, the 7-year-old and the woman were transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Sedalia driver injured in Morgan County accident

A Sedalia man, 23, suffered moderate injuries at 10 pm. Friday, April 18, in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2016 Ford Mustang driven by the 23-year-old west on U.S. Highway 50 near Missouri Route 135 crossed the center of the roadway and struck an eastbound 2016 Peterbilt 579 driven by a 36-year-old man from Carson, California. 

The Sedalia man was not wearing a seat belt, and was transported by ambulance to Bothwell Regional Health Center.

Knob Noster woman injured in Pettis accident

A 63-year-old woman from Knob Noster suffered moderate injuries at 6:02 a.m. Thursday, April 17, in a Pettis County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, she was driving a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox East on U.S. Highway 50 near Route MM when a 1988 Chevrolet 1500 driven by a Warrensburg man east slowed for a red light and was struck.

It's unknown if the woman was wearing a seat belt. She was transported by Pettis County Ambulance District to Research Medical Center in Kansas City. 

Sedalia woman hurt in Pettis accident

A Sedalia woman, 54, suffered minor injuries at 8:41 p.m. Thursday, April 17,  in a Pettis County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the woman was driving a 2022 Honda CRV and was stopped at the stop sign on McVey Road attempting to turn north onto Route U and failed to yield at the intersection a 2012 Ford Escape driven north by an 80-year-old man from Cole Camp and was struck.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, the woman was transported by Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center.
