A California woman, 66, suffered serious injuries at 1:55 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, in a Moniteau County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, she was traveling east at Industrial Drive and Lookout Trail in a 1997 Chevrolet Lumina when a 2018 International Dump Truck driven south by a Prairie Home man, 66, who failed to yield and struck the driver's side of her vehicle. She was wearing a seat belt, and was flown by Air Evac to University Hospital in Columbia.
A Carrollton man, 55, suffered minor injuries at 3:08 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, in a Saline County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2024 John Deere farm implements east on a private lane east of Gusty Lane, when the bank of the canal gave way under the vehicle causing the vehicle to overturn.
He was transported to Fitzgibbons Hospital in Marshall by private conveyance.
