A 40-year-old female from Greenfield suffered minor injuries in an accident Wednesday, Feb. 12 in Pettis County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the woman was driving a 2003 Buick Le Sabre eastbound on Route D west of U.S. 65 at 7:27 p.m. when she overcorrected her sliding vehicle and continued to slide into the westbound lane before being struck by a 1997 GMC Sierra driven by a 56-year-old male from Sedalia.
Neither driver was wearing a seatbelt. The woman was transported by Pettis County EMS to Bothwell Regional Medical Center.
The male did not have any reported injuries.
