Columbus man hurt in Benton County rollover
A Columbus man, 29 suffered minor injuries at 10:57 a.m. Thursday, June 12, in a Benton County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2024 Ford F650 north on Missouri Highway 7 at Turkey Creek Hill when he failed to negotiate a curve and dropped off the right side of the roadway. His truck went down an embankment, struck a MoDOT sign and overturned into trees.
He was not wearing a seat belt, and was transported by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center.
Warsaw woman seriously injured in Benton County collision
A Warsaw woman, 64, suffered serious injuries at 11:18 a.m. Thursday, June 12, in a Benton County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a Toyota 4-Runner driven east on Lakewood Avenue at Lost Valley Road by a 44-year-old man from Warsaw crossed the centerline on wet pavement and collided with the woman's westbound Ford Escape. While the man was wearing a seat belt, it is unknown if the woman was. She was transported by Warsaw EMS to Bothwell Regional Health Center.
Odessa woman injured in Johnson County ATV accident
An Odessa woman, 64 suffered moderate injuries at 11:19 a.m. Thursday, June 12, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, she was driving a 2021 Zhejiang ATV south on NW 1401 Road when she traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned.
She was not wearing a helmet, and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Centerpoint Hospital in Independence.
Nebraska man seriously injured in I-70 accident
A Lincoln Nebraska man, 58, suffered serious injuries at 7:50 a.m. Thursday, June 12, in a Saline County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2013 Dodge Avenger west on I-70 when the vehicle began sliding on the roadway and drove off the left side of the road striking the cable barrier. It overturned multiple times and the driver was ejected.
He was not wearing a seat belt, and was transported by Life-Fight to Research Hospital in Kansas City.
Teen hurt in accident after medical emergency
A 17-year-old girl from Herculaneum suffered minor injuries at 12:57 p.m. Thursday, June 12, in a Saline County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, she was driving a Mazda westbound on I-70 when she suffered a medical emergency.
The vehicle traveled off the right side of the road striking a culvert. She was not wearing a seat belt and was transported by Sweet Springs EMS to Centerpoint Medical Center.
