Sedalia teen killed in Table Rock Lake watercraft collision
A Sedalia boy, 16, suffered fatal injuries at 2:45 p.m. Saturday, June 21, in a Table Rock Lake accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2021 Sea-Doo powered watercraft south on Clevenger Cove near Hollister on Table Rock Lake when he was struck head on by a 2024 Sea-Doo driven east by a 19-year-old man from Ozark.
He was wearing a flotation device.
He was pronounced dead by Taney County Deputy Coroner Bryan Koppitz and transported by the Taney County Coroners Office to Cremations of Ozarks.
Three from Sedalia transported after Benton County mishap
An 11-year-old girl from Sedalia suffered moderate injuries, a 13-year-old boy from Sedalia suffered moderate injuries and a 38-year-old man from Sedalia suffered serious injuries at 6:24 p.m. Friday, June 20, in a Benton County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the 13-year-old was driving a 2005 Saturn north on Missouri Route B at the loop when it crossed the center of the roadway and struck a tree. Everyone was wearing a seat belt. The teens were transported to Bothwell Regional Medical Center by Warsaw Lincoln EMS. The 38-year-old occupant was Life Flighted to University Medical Center in Columbia.
Two from Lincoln hurt in Benton County crash
A Lincoln man, 26, suffered minor injuries and another Lincoln man, 74, suffered minor injuries at 8:35 a.m. Saturday, June 21, in a Benton County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2005 Honda Pilot driven by the 74-year-old west was stopped at Oak Street and a 2006 Ford Focus was driven by the 26-year-old north on Highway 65. The Honda turned into its path and was hit.
It is unknown if anyone was wearing a seat belt. The Focus driver was transported by private vehicle for treatment, the Honda driver was transported to Golden Valley Hospital in Clinton by Warsaw - Lincoln EMS.
Two from Omaha hurt in Benton County motorcycle accident
A 7-year-old boy from Omaha, Nebraska suffered serious injuries, and a 27-year-old man from Omaha suffered moderate injuries at 9:25 p.m. Saturday, June 21, in a Benton County motorcycle accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the 27-year-old was driving a 2022 Trailmaster dirt bike south on Ridgeway Ave, south of Roundhouse Avenue, and traveled off the west side of the roadway striking a driveway and overturning.
Neither occupant was wearing a helmet, the child was transported by Life Flight to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. The adult sought medical treatment at a later time.
Four transported after Henry County collision
A 13-year-old boy from Galena suffered minor injuries, a 51-year-old woman from Excelsior Springs suffered minor injuries, a 59-year-old woman from Deepwater suffered moderate injuries, and a 60-year-old man from Deepwater suffered moderate injuries at 4:20 p.m. Sunday, June 22, in a Henry County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox driven by the 51-year-old from Excelsior Springs East on Missouri Route 52 at South Eighth Street failed to stop at a stop sign and impacted a 2020 Nissan Rogue driven by the 59-year-old Deepwater woman driving west. Everyone was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital by Golden Valley Ambulance District.
Sedalia woman hurt in Johnson County accident
A Sedalia woman, 42, suffered minor injuries at 9:37 p.m. Saturday, June 21, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2013 Ram truck driven by a 29-year-old man from Pleasant Hill turned west onto U.S. Highway 50 from NW 1501 Road and the Sedalia woman's 2009 Pontiac G6 struck the rear of the Ram truck.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts. The Sedalia woman was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
Two hurt in Pettis County accident
A 16-year-old boy from Sedalia suffered minor injuries and a 52-year-old man from Hughesville suffered minor injuries at 2 p.m. Friday, June 20, in a Pettis County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report a 2008 Ford Escape driven by the 52-year-old was heading north on U.S. Highway 65 when a Chrysler Town & Country driven by the 16-year-old west on Kemp Road, pulled into the path of the Ford and was struck.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts. The teen was transported by private party to Urgent Care in Sedalia and Hughesville man was transported by private party to Bothwell Regional Medical Center.
