A Warsaw woman, 65, suffered serious injuries at 8:05 a.m. Saturday in a Benton County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2004 Chevrolet Trax driven by the woman north on U.S. Highway 65, south of Cedar Gate, struck the rear of a 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer driven by a 79-year-old Warsaw man, also headed north. The woman’s car then crossed the median and struck a guardrail.
Although the man was wearing a seat belt, the woman was not and was transported by Life Flight to University Hospital in Columbia.
