Holden woman killed in Johnson County accident
A Holden woman, 54, was killed at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, May 8, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, she was driving a 2010 Buick Enclave south on Route O when she traveled off the right side of the roadway and over-corrected causing the vehicle to overturn.
She was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead on scene and by Johnson County Ambulance District supervisor Tabitha Parrot and transported to Sweeney Phillips and Holdren Funeral Home.
Warrensburg man hurt in Johnson County accident
A Warrensburg man, 46, suffered minor injuries at 3:14 p.m. Thursday, May 8, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was an occupant in a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by a 32-year-old man from Warrensburg north on Business 13 when they struck the rear of a northbound 1995 Chevrolet S10 driven by a 50-year-old man from Warrensburg.
Everyone involved in the accident was wearing a seat belt, except for the occupant from Warrensburg who was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
Leeton motorcyclist injured in Johnson County deer strike
A Leeton man, 25, suffered moderate injuries at 11:25 p.m. Thursday, May 8, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2025 Yamaha YZF 690 west on Route WW when he struck a deer and was overturned.
He was wearing a helmet, and was transported by Windsor EMS to Western Missouri Medical Center.
