Sedalia teen injured in Morgan County accident
A 17-year-old female from Sedalia suffered moderate injuries at 12:30 p.m. Monday, May 6, in a Morgan County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report,t she was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze north on Missouri Highway 135 near Ponderosa Drive when she traveled off the edge of the roadway, over-corrected, returned to the roadway, over-corrected again, went off the right side of the road and overturned.
She was not wearing a seat belt, and was transported by Mid-MO Ambulance District to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
Malta Bend teen hurt in Saline County accident
A 16-year-old from Malta Bend suffered minor injuries at 7:20 a.m. Friday, May 5, in a Saline County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, she was driving a 2008 Pontiac G6 east on H Highway, east of Lilac Road, when she traveled off the right side of the roadway, over-corrected and struck an embankment.
The driver was not wearing a seat belt, and was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
