Three transported after I-70 collision
A Kansas City man, 21, suffered minor injuries, a Charleston man, 21, suffered minor injuries, and another Charleston man, 23, suffered minor injuries at 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, in a Saline County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2018 Chrysler 300 was stopped on the shoulder of I-70 westbound when a 2025 International driven by a 42-year-old man from Linn Valley, Kansas traveled off the right shoulder and struck the Chrysler.
There was no driver reported for the Chrysler, the two 21 year old occupants were not belted in and were transported by Sweet Springs EMS to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Sweet Springs. The 23-year-old occupant of the International was not wearing a seat belt, and was transported to Fitzgibbon as well.
