A Russellville man, 38, was killed, a Versailles man, 45, was killed, and a Cole Camp woman, 48, was seriously injured at 7:32 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, in a Morgan County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2013 Mercedes-Benz S-class driven east on U.S. 50 at Old 50 Highway by a Sedalia man, 18, struck the rear of a 2000 Chevrolet Cobalt driven east by the Cole Camp woman which was pushed into the westbound lane and struck head on by a 2012 Mazda 3 driven west by the Russellville man.
No one was wearing a seat belt. The injured woman was transported to University of Hospital in Columbia by MU Air, the Versailles man was transported to University Hospital in Columbia by MU Air and the Russellville man was transported to Page-Dady Funeral Home.
