A Pettis County man was found dead Monday morning, Aug. 7 after going missing the previous evening.
On Sunday evening, Aug. 6, the Pettis County Sheriff's Office issued an Endangered Person Advisory for 58-year-old Richard Schlesselman, who was last seen around 4:30 p.m. Sunday near Highway A and Whiteman Road.
Schlesselman went for a jog and never returned, prompting the advisory.
The sheriff’s office did not indicate where Schlesselman was found, but Sheriff Brad Anders stated in a Facebook post that no foul play is suspected.
