Nate Smith with Tyler Braden, Josh Ross added to 2026 Missouri State Fair lineup

Nate Smith is joining the slate of new country artists docketed to perform at the 2026 Missouri State Fair.

​Smith will take the grandstand with Tyler Braden and Josh Ross at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20. He is the third solo country headliner to be announced for the fair, joining Bailey Zimmerman (Aug. 13) and Russell Dickerson (Aug. 15).

Smith has accumulated over two million streams and is best known for three multi-week No. 1 records in “Whiskey on You,” “World on Fire,” and “Bulletproof.”

Both “Whiskey On You” and “World On Fire” were featured on Smith’s self-titled certified gold debut album, which was released in April 2023.

In 2025, Smith was named the American Country Music New Male Artist of the Year, the 2024 Billboard  Rookie of the Year and the 2024 Amazon’s Breakthrough Country Artist.

He has toured with Morgan Wallen,Thomas Rhett and Cole Swindell.

​Braden is known for “Little Red Wine and Losing One.” He has opened up for Luke Bryan, Brooks & Dunn, Dierks Bentley, Brothers Osborne, Warren Zeiders and Darius Rucker.

Ross is known for his EP “Complicated”, which earned a JUNO Award in 2025 for Country Album of the Year. In 2025, he had his first No. 1 hit in Single Again.” He has opened up for Luke Bryan and Jelly Roll.

This is the eighth concert to be announced for the fair thus far.

Bailey Zimmerman will open Aug. 13 with Chandler Walters. The All-American Rejects will perform Aug. 14, Russell Dickerson with Atlus will perform Aug. 15, Three Dog Night and Little River Band will perform Aug. 18, Skillet with Tenth Avenue North will perform Aug. 19, Rick Ross will perform with the Ying Yang Twins, Twista and Murphy Lee on Aug. 21, Little Big Town will perform with Walker Montgomery on Saturday, Aug. 22.

Missouri State Fair Grandstand concert ticket presale begins for registered Fair Fans at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12, and will end at 4 p.m. on Monday, May 18, through Etix.com or by phone. No tickets for the Missouri State Fair will be sold prior to the presale.

Public sales begin at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 19, through Etix.com or by phone. The Missouri State Fair Box Office will open at noon on Monday, June 29.
