Arrests

April 15

9:56 a.m.: Joint Communications began receiving calls from a specific phone number in the 700 block of South Ohio Avenue.  23 total calls came in from a person who would either give his name or just hang up. Attempted call backs met success as the subject would not answer. Joint Communications requested charges of harassment against the caller. 

5:53 p.m.: Anatoli Kukharets, 25, was arrested after an officer responded to Prime Time, 216 West Broadway Blvd, in response to a subject stealing and threatening staff and customers. Kukharets was held for 24 hours at the Pettis County Jail pending charges of harassment and shoplifting.

6:51 p.m.: Ashley Nicolle Bardin, 23, was arrested at the Sedalia Police Department after officers began investigating a disturbance that led to a hit-and-run near Woods Grocery, 701 East Broadway Blvd. The subjects were identified and later arrested on April 15, 2025. 

Bardin was charged with second-degree assault-vehicular injury, second-degree robbery, third-degree kidnapping and leaving the scene of an accident. 

7:27 p.m.: Hallie May Fox, 23, was arrested after officers made contact with a subject in the 2500 block of North Woodlawn Drive. Fox admitted to officers she gave false information to help another suspect evade arrest and was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of second-degree assault-vehicular injury, second-degree robbery, third-degree kidnapping, felony resisting arrest and leaving the scene of an accident. 

8:22 p.m.: Josephine Cordelia Marek, 21, was arrested at the Sedalia Police Department after officers began investigating a disturbance that led to a hit-and-run near Woods Grocery, 701 East Broadway Blvd. The subjects were identified and later arrested on April 15, 2025. 

Marek was charged with second-degree assault-vehicular injury, second-degree robbery, third-degree kidnapping and leaving the scene of an accident. 

Incidents

April 15

10:52 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to Centennial Park regarding a theft report. The victim said they left an iPad 10 near the batting cages. It was entered into the system as stolen.

April 16

3:04 p.m.: Officers were doing an area check in the 1600 block of West Main Street and found several items which were seized for safekeeping.
