Arrests

Jan. 27

3:51 a.m.: Edilberto Quetzecua-Rubio, 27, was arrested after he was observed in a vehicle near the intersection of Sixth Street and South Quincy Avenue driving without headlights.He had a suspended driver's license and was released from the police department with a citation.

Feb. 3

9:45 a.m.: Alex A. Lam, 46, was arrested after officers were dispatched to Jefferson Street and Lamine Avenue for a person connecting to a fire hydrant and filling a company water container. Due to repeated damage to hydrants, and possible contamination of the water system due to lack of a backflow preventer the subject was confronted and charged with theft of utility service. Lam was given a citation.

10:40 p.m.: Anthony Brian Clement Joseph Sr, 38, was arrested after officers responded to the 600 block of West Sixth Street in reference to a disturbance.

10:40 p.m.: Steven A. Henderson, 62, was arrested after officers responded to the 600 block of West Sixth Street in reference to a disturbance. They determined both parties were fighting outside the residence. They were arrested for peace disturbance and released on scene with a summons.

11:16 p.m.: Steven Amos Henderson, 62, was arrested after an officer responded to the 600 block of West Sixth Street for a report of harassment. Henderson was transported to the Pettis County Jail and held for 24-hours pending a charge of harassment.

Feb. 4

2:00 a.m.: Jared Ward Sanders, 43, was arrested after an officer responded to the 800 block of West Fifth Street for a subject violating an order of protection. Sanders was transported to the Pettis County Jail and held for 24 hours pending charges of violating an ex parte order.

Incidents

Feb. 3

3:24 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to KFC, 1513 South Limit Ave, for a domestic disturbance. A couple got into a physical altercation, no primary physical aggressor was determined so a 12-hour log was used to document the incident.

8:42 p.m.: Officers assisted another agency related to an assault that occurred in Boone County earlier in the evening. Contact was made with the victim and the information was forwarded to the agency to assist with their investigation.

Feb. 4

12:29 a.m.: Officers responded to the 800 block of West Fifth Street in reference to a suspicious subject. They were able to determine the subject had violated an order of protection and the suspect was identified but was unable to be located. State charges are being submitted.

Feb. 3

11:33 a.m.: A complainant in the 21000 block of Hwy F reported to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office he was the victim of identity theft. The investigation continues.

Feb. 3

3:57 p.m.: Hunter J. Roby, 38, of Lee's Summit was arrested in Saline County for felony resisting arrest, felony possession of a controlled substance, third-degree assault and careless and imprudent driving involving a crash. He was transported to the Saline County Sheriff's Office and placed on a 12-hour hold
