4:48 a.m.: James Frederick Bailey, 27, was arrested after officers responded to the 1900 block of South Quincy Avenue for a potential burglary in progress. They took the suspect, who was still in the residence, into custody without issue and transported him to the Bothwell Health Center for a fit of confinement as he was extremely intoxicated, then to the Pettis County Jail to be placed on a protective custody hold as he was deemed a danger to himself.
7:10 p.m.: Tristan Matthew Uree Smith, 24, was arrested after officers conducted a warrant check on a subject in the 500 block of West Morgan Street. The went to the front door but Smith exited out of a side window in an attempt to flee.
He was pursued for several minutes before being located nearby. Smith was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending a felony resisting arrest charge, felony failure to appear, and misdemeanor failure to appear warrants.
824 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the lobby of the police department in reference to fraud. They spoke with the reporting party and collected information for a report.
11:17 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to Roto-Rooter, 3200 West 16th St, in reference to a theft report. They made contact with the caller and a report was submitted.
