Arrests

Jan. 2

8:44 p.m.: Tanaeia Keshae Smith, 32, was arrested after a traffic stop near South Engineer Avenue and East Fifth Street for an unreadable registration plate. She was intoxicated and was issued a uniform traffic ticket for driving while intoxicated - drugs.

Jan. 3

3:15 p.m.: Brandy Lile, 47, and Elisa Josette Bonjour, 39, of the 1700 block of South Lamine Avenue were arrested after deputies responded for a narcotics investigation. Lile was charged with drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and felony hindering prosecution. Bonjour was charged with drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jan. 4

12:40 a.m.: Nathan W. Dotson, 38, of the 700 block of East Fifth Street was arrested after a traffic stop near West Sixth Street and South Grand Avenue for not displaying registration plates.Methamphetamine was located in the vehicle and it was determined Dotson was intoxicated. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending charges of DWI - drug and drug possession.

Jan. 7

8:52 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to Woods, 1400 South Limit Ave, for a fraud/forgery report. The suspects were able to forge a Coinstar receipt to reflect a higher dollar amount than put into the machine. The total amount of cash taken by the suspects was $958.98.

4:24 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to a hit-and-run accident in the 1300 block of East Sixth Street. The reporting party said over the weekend someone had hit one of the taillights on her father's vehicle.

Arrests

Jan. 6

Midnight: Pettis County deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 23000 block of Smasal Road for a report of fraud. The victim thought he was purchasing a John Deere tractor from an online company and it turned out it was a fraudulent scam. There are no known suspects at this time.

Jan. 7

5:49 a.m.: Amanda Allen, 36, of Henry County was arrested after Pettis County deputies located two vehicles that had slid off the roadway due to the weather near Hwy Y. After stopping to check on the vehicles and requesting a tow truck at their request, the deputy learned a firearm was brandished during the interaction between the two parties. Allen was a convicted felon in the State of Missouri and charges are being filed for unlawful possession of a firearm.
