Arrests

June 12

12:57 p.m.: Krystal Marie Basham, 39, was arrested after officers took a report of possible fraud in the lobby of the police department. It was discovered a theft had occurred and the suspect was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released with a charge of stealing.

June 19

12:51 p.m.: Miguel Sebastian Nava, 40, was arrested after a traffic stop at the intersection of Seventh Street and Kentucky Avenue on a vehicle with excessive window tint. Nava was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released with a citation for driving without a valid driver's license.

2:54 p.m.: Manny Cuevas, 20, was arrested after a traffic stop at Fifth Street and Engineer Avenue for excessive window tint and displaying license plates of another vehicle. Cuevas was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released with charges of failing to register a vehicle, operating a vehicle without a driver's license and no proof of insurance. 

June 20

10:52 p.m.: Jacolbyi Scott Montier, 26, was arrested after a vehicle stopped for defective equipment at East 13th Street and South Marvin Avenue. The operator had a revoked driver's license and was processed at the Sedalia police department and released with a citation. 

June 21

12:39 a.m.: Elizabeth Anne Davis, 39, was arrested after an SUV was stopped near West Broadway Boulevard and South Moniteau Avenue for conducting an improper turn. The driver was impaired by drugs and the passenger was in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The driver was booked and released on a municipal charge of DWI and the passenger was placed on a 24-hour hold on state charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

11:45 p.m.: Ramey Elizabeth Williams, was arrested after a traffic stop at West 18th Street and South Missouri Avenue for expired registration. The driver had no operator's license and was released from the scene with a citation. 

12:10 p.m.: Jacob Dalton Calvin, 35, was arrested after officers were dispatched to Walmart, 3201 West Broadway Blvd. in reference to shoplifting. The suspect was identified and released with a citation for shoplifting. 

6:48 p.m.: Donnie D. Wiser, 38, was arrested after a traffic stop in the 1100 block of West Seventh Street for operating with a revoked driver's license. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail booked and released.

7:14 p.m.: Blake Anderson Dewitt, 28, was arrested after a Department of Revenue check revealed that he had a suspended license. He was recognized driving west on Broadway and failing to maintain a lane. Dewitt was arrested and released with a municipal citation for driving while suspended, no child restraint and improper lane usage. 

7:49 p.m.: Rosalio Cervantes Galvan, 53, was arrested after a traffic stop on a truck near East 16th Street and South Ohio Avenue. The suspect had a revoked driver's license and was transported to the Pettis County Jail place on the 24-hour hold pending charges of felony driving while suspended.

June 22

9:52 a.m.: Lewis Alberto Garcia Rubio, 27, was arrested after an officer responded to the 200 block of West Broadway Boulevard for the report of an intoxicated driver. They made contact with the suspect and determined they were indeed intoxicated. Rubio was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending charges of DWI and drinking on a public sidewalk. 

11:48 a.m.: Juan Zacharias Ubaldo, 26, was arrested after officers were dispatched to the Bothwell ER for a victim reporting domestic assault to ER staff. They gathered information documentation and photographs of injuries, identified the suspect and charges were submitted to the Pettis County prosecuting attorney for second-degree domestic assault. 

Incidents

June 20

7:35 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of South Stewart Avenue for found property. They brought the property back to the police department and placed it into safekeeping. 

June 21

6:41 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the scene of a hit-and-run accident in the 1300 block of East Sixth Street. They gathered information and a report was completed. 

9:09 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of South Ohio Avenue for a past property damage report. They spoke with the reporting party and gathered information for a report.

3:02 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 3700 block of West 10th Street for two deer that were hit by a vehicle. One of the deer was deceased and the other was struggling due to the impact with the vehicle. The deer was dispatched and a report was completed.

June 22

12:20 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 3100 block of West 10th Street in reference to theft. The reporting party requested contact by phone and the officers gathered information and submitted a report. 

4:40 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of West Third Street for a theft report. They met with the complainant and submitted a report.

7:08 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to Walmart, 3201 West Broadway Blvd, in reference to a theft. The reporting party said a woman attempted to steal $534 in items but was stopped at the entrance and the items were retrieved. 

9:54 p.m.: Police received a mutual aid request from Pettis County for the drone and canine units to assist them, Missouri State Highway Patrol and Lafayette County near Highway BB and US 65 to search for a wanted person.

June 24

12:48 a.m.: A motor vehicle accident was reported at 16th Street and Limit Avenue. Witnesses reported a white pickup truck striking a utility pole resulting in a loss of power. The truck fled the scene.

June 19

5:33 p.m.: Damian L. Croft, 30, of Clarksburg was arrested in Moniteau County for driving while intoxicated with a person less than 17 years old in a vehicle and no seat belt. He was transported to the Moniteau County Jail.
