Incidents

May 27

3:50 p.m.:  A call came in regarding the theft of a vehicle from WK Chevrolet, 3310 West 3310 Broadway Blvd. Information was gathered for a report.

June 4

8:06 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Water Tower Road for the report of a missing item. They gathered information for a report. 

11:56 a.m.: An officer spoke with a subject in the lobby of the police department about a purchase transaction for a vehicle. After gathering a report was generated. 

1:36 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to Shoe Sensation, 2700 West Broadway Blvd, in reference to a theft report. The employee said a suspect came into the store, put shoes in his pants and left without paying. 

9:53 p.m.: A victim came to the police headquarters to make a theft report. Her wallet and contents had been taken while she was working at Rest Haven, 1800 South Ingram Avenue. At the time of the report no suspects were identified. 

Pettis County Sheriff's Office

Incidents

May 30

4:18 a.m.: Pettis County deputies were requested to assist the Sedalia Police Department with an ongoing investigation. Assistance was rendered.

Arrests

June 5

12:43 a.m.: Tyler E. Girard, 29, of Nelson was arrested in Saline County for felony fleeing, felony possession of controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding, no motorcycle endorsement, failure to stop at a stop sign, no insurance and careless and imprudent driving. He was transported to the Saline County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.
